How do I place an order?

You may place an order in several ways. Custom signs require a quotation.

  • Once you receive and approve the quote, order by FAX with our faxable order form.
  • You may place an order with credit card by calling toll-free, 800-959-9018.
  • Order online- The easiest way to order! 24 hours a day, go to our storefront and order anything you want.
  • Some prefer mail. Download our order form, and send it to our address.

Where can I send my artwork?
By courier: LetterBank, 1107 Johnson Ave, San Luis Obispo CA 93401-3303, USA. Electronically to art@letterbank.com.

Do you have any other products?
We have many items; far too numerous to put online. If you don't see what you want, tell us, and we will do our best to help you find it.

Can you send me a sample?
We hear this a lot. The sad thing about samples, is that when you do something right, there are few "errors" or misprints to be kept around as samples. And who wants to receive a misprint as a sample of professional work? Now, when we do have samples available, we need to charge a nominal "come-back" fee, so that our sample will return. Most people are as honest as we like to think they are, but the bad apples have caused us to institute the "come back" fee. Call us for details.

Can I order by PO?
You may qualify to order by PO is you have an open account; or if as a government institution, military organization, recognized and accredited educational institute or religious organization and non-profit group, you fill out our PO without an open account request. Write for details. Our address.

How soon can I get what I ordered?
Custom items ship when they are ready, usually from 5 to 14 business days. Transit time extra (ground UPS to FedEx overnight, where available)

Stock items can ship in 2-3 days from order. Whatever we have in stock, we can ship sometimes the same day as the order is received, otherwise, it takes our vendors and manufacturers an extra day or two to ship.

Notorious late-shippers are our aluminum banner stands and higher-end poster/sign stands. As these are technically "stock", but assembled to order, they usually ship within a week from your order.
Note that this is for black or silver. Gold or white may take 2 weeks to ship.


How much is shipping?

Couriers and the Postal Service keep going up. Costs of labor, fuel and shipping supplies will continue to climb. For an accurate snapshot of the cost of freight, we will guarantee any freight quote requested for up to 30 days from your request.

I ordered (something) and the freight costs too much.
LetterBank has nothing to do with the freight or shipping costs charged by our manufacturers and vendors. We are sorry if you had an unpleasant surprise- But you can avoid surprises by contacting us prior to placing an order. We will find out the costs of shipping to your location from our warehouse or manufacturer.

Can I use my FedEx (UPS, DHL) account for shipping?

Actually, many people do. There is a nominal $10 processing fee for the extra paperwork necessary and manufacturer hand-holding time we have to spend, and the five extra steps we need to take to assure that your project has been shipped and delivered in the manner requested.

I want to order a custom sign for delivery this weekend.
Custom signs are by their nature, made to order. They are not available the instant you place an order; some can take 8 weeks (porcelain signs, as example), and some take 10-12 business days (table covers, for instance). When you clearly state a "need by" date, we will do our best to accommodate a realistic timeframe, based upon [a] current workload and demand for the product line ordered, [b] how fast we can get your project done within our capacity to do so, and [3] any tricks we can pull to get your job done fast.
