What does it cost?

LetterBank's professional Art Department charges by the hour or portion, and is glad to quote on your project. Hourly fee is $125.00 per hour for fast, efficient team services.

What do you do?

We turn your bitmapped art, photo, fax, drawing or sketch into a postscript vectored art file, required for many kinds of sign and displays.

How do I send you my art or file for a quote?

You may email files under 2 megs. See readable formats below. Don't have a readable format? Print it out and mail it to us.

Can you work directly with my graphic artist/agency?

Yes, we work with many design and marketing professionals. Have them email us for more information.


Can I have a copy of my art on a DVD or CD?
Yes, we are glad to provide this service for our cusotmers.
Original art created or modified by LetterBank can be purchased
for $50 for a CD.
File is saved in several formats for easy access on PC and MAC
computer programs.

Readable Formats:

Another kind of file? Send it in, and we can try to open it.

Placed or linked images? These can cause problems. Send the art in the program of origin, or print it out.

Sending a tif/jpg? Save as high-resolution in CMYK at a minimum 244 dpi resolution at finished size.

LetterBank can create original art, or scan, modify, color or otherwise update your art.


We do not accept Quark, InDesign, PageMaker or other non-graphic program files. We do not accept MicroSoft files, as they generally are not design programs, and to reduce the liabilities of a virus. If your art is in these files, print it out to send it in.

Files must be ORIGIN files. Files with placed graphics cannot be used. See
checklist before sending file(s).

Checklist

  • Files must be compressed with stuffit or zip.
  • Files under 2 megs must be sent as an email attachment to artnew@letterbank.com with a faxed purchase order (805-782-5050 fax only) to let us know to connect your art to your project.
  • Files over 2 megs may be sent as a CD or DVD.
    A printout must accompany your disk(s).
  • Fonts (T1 or TT for Mac) must be included with projects
  • Print-out and color call-out must be faxed with your name + number.
