Working from your Illustration file(s): LetterBank Art Department can work with files created in the following programs, and saved as follows (Note: no gradations or path patterns for vinyl cut files, NO PLACED FILES):

Adobe Illustrator to 9.0 - Convert to outlines and save as (EPS 5.0-9.0) illustrator 9.0. No preview needed.

Deneba Canvas 5-9 Convert text to outlines/paths and export as native Illustrator file or Canvas 5.0 file (EPS).

MacroMind FreeHand 5, 7 -10- Convert to paths and save as EPS file, or export as illustrator file. Send fonts used and a color printout.

CorelDRAW 8-10- Convert to curves, save and export as Illustrator file for Mac. Include fonts used (TrueType or T1). Important: "Uncheck" the "split long paths" option.

Also: Hi-Res TIFF files, EPS/EPSF files may be useable.

Digital and Full-color: We can work from the following* (in descending order of preference):

*Save at either full (finished) size at 300dpi/ppi, or proportionate size at greater resolution

Creating Original Artwork:
LetterBank can create the sign design and format for you at a reasonable price. Call or contact us for details and assistance. Artwork is then available for additional production, print or other media, for an additional fee:
$40.00 for a zip disk file, and $50.00 for a CD. Various file formats are used for maximum use of your logo or artwork.

Electronic Artwork is accepted only on the following media:


CD, DVD.

Email files less than 4 Megs, or use alternate address for files up to 10 megs.

We do not support Excell, Word, Publisher, Quark or Pagemaker files. We do not support text (ASCII) or bitmapped art.

Scanning:
We can scan camera-ready, crisp black-on-white artwork for conventional signs, and clear photographic images for our Digital Full-Color Signs. For other than a velox, PMT or crisp black-and-white artwork, see next category (below).

Working from your original artwork:
At LetterBank, we can use most forms of artwork. If the resolution or suitability of the artwork is not sufficient for a crisp enlargement into a finished sign, we can photographically reproduce your art (minimum order requirements may apply). EMail us today, or FAX your art if you prefer.

Sending your artwork:
We accept several different formats for original artwork files. Over the Net, most files are suitable (see "Working from your Illustration Program Disks: " above).

By fax, a clear black outline of your art will give us an idea for a price quotation, but it is not considered useable artwork.

By Courier or Mail, send to: LetterBank Art Services, 950 Chorro St., San Luis Obispo CA 93401-3202.

BY EMAIL with attachment: Click on the email link below and refer to your order in the body of the email letter. Include your telephone number in case we have questions. Attach your electronic file as an .hqx format file, to avoid common internet scrambling problems. EMAIL YOUR FILE.
